“Biokor” milk thistle seeds — is a natural remedy for maintaining the functions of the liver, bile ducts and gastrointestinal tract.

The milk thistle seeds contain the entire spectrum of useful substances of this plant-bioflavonoids (flavolignans) and healing oil.
Milk thistle seeds help restore liver cells damaged by alcohol, toxins and drugs, have an anti-inflammatory and mild choleretic effect. Silymarin (a complex of flavolignans, silybin is the main of them) is the active substance of milk thistle seeds which affects the liver in two ways: first, it restores cell membranes, and secondly, it helps to build healthy cells. In addition, silymarin has antioxidant properties.
Milk thistle oil is rich in essential polyunsaturated fatty acids of the Omega-6 class. The advantage of milk thistle oil is the high content of tocopherol (natural vitamin E), carotenoid (provitamin A) and bioflavanoids, which reduce the damaging effect of poisons and drugs, inhibit the processes of lipid peroxidation. Milk thistle oil has healing properties.

Adults and children over 14 years should take 0.5 g (1/3 teaspoon) of ground seeds per day at mealtimes, as a dietary supplement- a source of flavolignans. Consumption of 0.5 g per day satisfies an adequate level of flavolignan consumption by at least 33% (at least 10 mg).
It is recommended to take it in ground form or adding ground seeds to prepared dishes (porridge, salad).
